Highlights from the 18th RPOA-IUU Coordination Committee Meeting held in Singapore from 26 to 27 November 2025.
With the existence of the RPOA-IUU for almost 18 years, RPOA-IUU will continue to serve as regional platform for working together in preventing and eradicating these illegal practices in the region.
The Coordination Committee Meeting is more than just a regular meeting. It brings country to sit together to discuss their recent progress in promoting responsible fishing practices and sharing collective plan to strengthen cooperation in the coming years. Hopefully, after this meeting, we can complete ‘our homework’ together for protecting our ocean from fish stock depletion caused by IUU fishing.
